Since 2015, Gaston-Sacaze and Connexions-Latines value and develop good social and environmental practices by structuring a CSR policy within the group, in collaboration with its stakeholders in order to make sustainable development part of its corporate culture.

THE GROUP’S GOOD CSR PRACTICES

General

  • We have assigned the position of CSR Manager to one of our employees so that someone centralizes the structuring and implementation of a CSR policy within the Group for greater efficiency.
  • We have had a chart of ethics for several years

Social & societal dimension

  • We encourage teleworking to offer our employees more flexibility in managing their schedule, fostering their well-being, strengthening trust in our relationships and reducing the impact of employee travel
  • We prevent the risk of isolation for those of our employees who work from home, by regularly organizing business trips to bring the team together for a moment of exchange, providing instant communication spaces via Skype and offering collaborative workspaces via Google Drive.
  • In our offices where physical presence is essential, we offer a pleasant working environment by equipping our employees with high-performance equipment, offering clean and functional workstations, providing them with spaces for relaxation and interaction (gardens, equipped kitchen, outdoor furniture).
  • We cultivate the team spirit, the motivation and the well-being of our employees by organizing team-building seminars every year in order to promote exchanges between the different areas, guarantee the good integration of the newcomers, reinforce the team cohesion and reward the commitment of our employees.
  • We favor longstanding employment by offering permanent contracts to provide stability for our employees. In all the countries where we are present, we provide assistance to our employees to help them settle down and deal with the administrative formalities in the host country. We support our employees in their ambitions to evolve within the company (transfer from one country to another, creating new positions, training).
  • We promote diversity in our teams within the group. Among our 15 senior management positions, 10 of them are held by women. We particularly pay attention to diversity in our teams: in our local offices, 50% of our staff is made up of local employees.
  • We select our partners and suppliers by ensuring that they always respect human rights in all countries where we operate.

Environmental Dimension

  • We pay particular attention to reducing our environmental footprint by raising the awareness of our employees to limit their use of paper on a daily basis. We transmit these practices to our customers and suppliers by ending our emails with an eco-friendly message. We monitor our energy consumption by turning off all lights and appliances when not in use, in every one of our offices.
  • We encourage responsible tourism by advising our travelers accordingly, to ensure respect for local people, environment and cultures while providing a rewarding experience for our clients.
