DAY 1 - BUENOS AIRES

Reception at the Airport and transfer to your hotel in town (rooms available from 14:00 pm). Private city tour of Buenos Aires (South): Visit of the historical center of Buenos Aires, Plaza de Mayo, San Telmo, La Boca, and the modern neighborhood of Puerto Madero. Meals at your leisure. Overnight at Buenos Aires

DAY 2 - Buenos Aires: Gaucho Day at a ranch

Breakfast at hotel.
Departure to enjoy a Gaucho Day at a traditional Argentine ranch (service shared with other guests)
Lunch: grilled meat (the famous Argentine “asado”) accompanied by a dance show and folk songs.
Activities: visit of the “estancia”, demonstration of equestrian games and the possibility of taking a short horseback ride and enjoying the day in Argentinean lands. In the early evening, return to your hotel. Dinner at leisure. Overnight at Buenos Aires

DAY 3 - BUENOS AIRES / USHUAIA

Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning, transfer to Buenos Aires domestic airport. Flight Buenos Aires – Ushuaia
Arrival to the Ushuaia Airport and private transfer with an English speaking guide to your hotel. In the morning, excursion in the Tierra del Fuego National Park (Private tour in English – Half Day). Box lunch on the spot.
Navigation in the Beagle Channel: Sea Lion Island and Birds Island (2:30 hours) – English speaking guide on board. (shared )
Private transfer to the port of Ushuaia (without guide). In the evening, visit to the Maritime Museum or Museum of the Prison: an old penitentiary center that operated until 1947. Visit of the Museum « Museo del Fin del Mundo ».
Settling in at the hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner at leisure. Overnight at Ushuaia

DAY 4 - USHUAIA / EL CALAFATE

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and flight to El Calafate. Arrival at El Calafate Airport and transfer to hotel.
Trip to Perito Moreno Glacier. Recommendations: warm clothes, sunglasses and sunscreen
Option: boat trip of about 1 hour: observation of the nearest glacier (¼ mile).A nautical safari of approximately an hour to observe the glacier close up. *** Trip to be booked in advance ***
Lunch at leisure. (suggestion: Box lunch ) Return to El Calafate at the end of the afternoon. Dinner at leisure. Overnight at El Calafate

DAY 5 - EL CALAFATE

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning, Boat Trip “Ríos de Hielo” on the Argentino Lake, the third largest lake in South America. Observation of different glaciers: The Upsala,the Onelli, the Agassi and the Spegazzini Glaciers. **Attention: Access to the Upsala Glacier is limited because of the amount of ice on the passage, as result of glaciers melting. Boat trips are subject to weather conditions.**
Recommendations: warm clothes, sunglasses and sunscreen.
Lunch included (packed lunch) on board. In the late afternoon, return to El Calafate. Dinner at leisure. Overnight at El Calafate

DAY 9 - EL CALAFATE/ BUENOS AIRES

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure in El Calafate.
**Option: Balcones de El Calafate – (Duration: 3 hours – 4×4 tour of 22 miles – Regular service Spanish / English): First stop at 3444 feet above sea level: panoramic view of El Calafate and the Argentine Lake. Depending on weather conditions, it is possible to observe the condors. We will continue with the visit of the “Laberinto de Piedra” (Stone Labyrinth), geological formation from the Cretaceous period (85 million years) where fossils have been found. Last stop at the “Piedra de los Sombreros”, where the eroded stone takes the form of Mexican hats. Depending on your flight departure, final transfer to the local airport of El Calafate. Flight to Buenos Aires.
Arrival and transfer to hotel. Meals at leisure. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Suggestion: Dinner & Tango Show: Around 20h, transfer to Tango house to experience a traditional and spectacular dinner tango-show.

DAY 7 - BUENOS AIRES / IGUAZU Waterfalls (Argentinia side)

Breakfast at hotel.
Full Day Excursion to the Falls (Argentinian Side): Listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Iguazú Falls are one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world; taller than Niagara Falls and twice as wide. Experience the immense power of the astonishing waterfalls of the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s throat).

– Eco-trip: air boat ride on the upper part of the river for a quiet moment and observation of flora and fauna. Duration: about 40 min.
– Nautical Adventure: Emotion and adrenaline are guaranteed during the 20 minutes of a motor boat tour very close to the falls! Recommendation: you will get wet! So you should bring extra clothes.
– Great Adventure: interactive trip in special vehicles through the forest, navigation on the river in speed boats in order to get as closest as possible to the falls. Emotion and adrenaline are guaranteed! Recommendation: you will get wet! So you should bring extra clothes.

DAY 8 - BUENOS AIRES / IGUAZU Waterfalls (Brasilian side)

Breakfast at the hotel. Half Day Excursion to Iguazu Falls: Visit of the Das Cataratas National Park (Brazilian Falls ) for a panoramic view of the incredible Iguazú Falls from the Brazilian side, with almost 3 km long and 270 cascades.
** Specific recommendations: passport is required for crossing the border. Attention: visa requirements for US & Canadian citizens**
At the beginning of the afternoon, back to hotel.

DAY 9 - IGUAZU TO BUENOS AIRES
